Some helpful tips:

  • We suggest that you do whatever you can from your home space to facilitate the keeping of silence throughout the day, like setting aside a room away from others in your household and turning off whatever devices you aren't using to participate.

  • You will need a yoga mat and a meditation cushion or chair, and a plan for where you would like to walk during the walking meditations.  If the weather permits, you may want to do that outside, and just time yourself, so you can come back in time for the next segment.

  • You can join us for the whole day or just come for the segments that interest you. I suggest the whole day, as the cumulative experience of keeping noble silence is an amazingly powerful practice, but you are welcome anytime.

  • Please just be sure to keep yourself muted so as not to disturb the noble silence with background noises.

  • There will be a juggling segment for the mindful movement, and we will have bean bags and clementines for use, but if you want to bring 3 things of your own to juggle, please do.

  • There is 10 minutes to prepare for mindful eating so we suggest that you have an easily prepared lunch available.
